PayPal is easy to use, and is great for taking the most of the initial hassle out of accepting credit cards, or dealing with SSL certificates for your site. For something this easy, there has to be a catch, and there is. Price.
PayPal is going to be more expensive than most other solutions, so if you do any sort of volume, maybe give your local bank a call.
